During the consultation, patients will meet with Dr. Bishara to address their specific concerns. Dr. Bishara will determine if the patient is a good candidate for a hair transplant procedure, then make recommendations on the type of procedure and the number of sections necessary in order to achieve the desired results. For some patients, a transplant is not necessary and instead they are recommended a series of non-surgical treatments. 

Following the consultation, patients will be guided to the conference room where the surgical coordinator will meet with them to discuss pricing, financing options, available dates for scheduling, etc. For virtual consultations, the surgical coordinator will email the patient their treatment plan, then call them to review it with them over the phone and answer any questions they may have. 

Most patients can return to normal activities within 1 to 2 days after surgery. Full recovery may take a few weeks, with scabbing and redness subsiding in about 7-10 days. It’s recommended to avoid strenuous activities for at least a week.
